  10.               o Now  it  works on the SB 16 in stereo.  ¡¡Up to 34500 Hz
  11.                 in  stereo!!.  Inconvenient: It's a little bit unsteady.
  12.                 If you change the sampling frecuency or the filters,  it
  13.                 can loose track.
  14.               o The  circular  buffer  already  works,  great with QEMM,
  15.                 etc.  We'll  see  how  it  does  with the SB and the Pro
  16.                 (only  tried  with  the  SB  16,  with its uninitialized
  17.                 mode, and sounds perfect).
  18.               o Fixed  the  bug  that  stopped the program from starting
  19.                 with the full 34500 Hz.
  20.               o Tried  the  circular  buffer  with  the  SB and the Pro.
  21.                 There was a bug in the initialization. Fixed.
  22.               o Fixed the freq. change in the File (OS/2) driver.
  23.               o Fixed a click when starting the music.
  24.               o Created a credits window. Activated using F8.
  25.               o Fixed  the  usage  description.  Now,  it doesn't ask to
  26.                 press a key if you redirect the output to a file.
  27.               o This  version  'escaped',  and  was  distributed  before
  28.                 time, without documentation. DMA didn't work fully.

  39.                 the SB.

  76.                 the date.
  77.               o Introduced  the  "Arpeggio  1 and 2"  commands,  used in
  78.                 tthe .OKT files. Still missing the "Note Slide".
  79.               o Doubled the output volume.  Made this because the  .OKTs
  80.                 were  too  low,  and so with fewer bits.  Introduced the
  81.                 saturation control, to avoid "sparks" in the sound.
  82.               o Version  not  released  to the public,  because it lacks
  83.                 things (the stereo doesn't sound).

  98.               o This  version  is the 1.0e,  only with the DOCs updated.
  99.                 Didn't  release  the  1.0e  because I wanted to make the
  100.                 .669  loader,  but  I've got too much job going on,  and
  101.                 it's not finished.
  102.               o IMPORTANT  NEWS:  I've  got  a few little files with the
  103.                 extension  .S3M,  which are the songs of the last Future
  104.                 Crew  demos  (Scream  Tracker 3.0 format).  I've already
  105.                 figured out the file format,  so for the next version...
  106.                 ;-)  (All  this  made in the most respectful of the ways
  107.                 towards  the  FC  people,  who  are  doing  the  best in
  108.                 graphics,  music  effects  and aesthetic in the whole PC
  109.                 world,  and  wanting  to  allow  286 and non-SB users to
  110.                 enjoy and apreciate their job).

  116.               o This is not a version.  It's junk. :-( The EXE file says
  117.                 1.2a, but it's not so.

  123.               o Implemented  the  heap handling UNIT.  Now,  if you have
  124.                 free UMBs, the program uses them.
  125.               o Implemented  a  new  internal  song  format,  quite more
  126.                 generalistic.  Also, it's OOP. With this format, I'll be
  127.                 able  to  implement every feature of every other format.
  128.                 The   new   format   includes   more   patterns,    more
  129.                 instruments,  independent  volumes for the notes,  space
  130.                 for the song comment, etc.
  131.               o Implemented the .S3M loader.
  132.               o Implemented the .STM loader.
  133.               o Implemented the .669 loader.
  134.               o Now  it's  no longer necessary to give the song filename
  135.                 extension. The program will use all the known ones.
  136.               o Fixed the standard output redirection detection.
  137.               o Changed  the  video  initialization,  to  make  it  more
  138.                 similar to older versions of VT. (Bug fix).
  139.               o Added  ShellVT  params,  to allow the specification of a
  140.                 program to execute instead of the shell.
  141.               o Changed the command line syntax.  Now, it uses switches.
  142.                 It  also  allows  to  have switches and song names in an
  143.                 ASCII file,  just by writing it starting with an at-sign
  144.                 (@). That's the .VTO files.
  145.               o Implemented  the  .S3M  loader  which  extracts the file
  146.                 from  inside  the  EXE file of a Future Crew demo.  Now,
  147.                 you can say: "VT UNREAL.EXE" ;-)
  148.               o Implemented the  .S3M loader. This format corresponds to
  149.                 the   intermediate   versions  of  the  Scream  Tracker,
  150.                 between  the  2.x  and the 3.0,  probably beta versions.
  151.                 This  kind  of  songs  is  found  in demos like  "Mental
  152.                 Surgery",  by  FC.  Note that not all the  .S2M song use
  153.                 the very same format, so some might not work.
  154.               o Implemented a filter bass-enhancer.  Try it pressing the
  155.                 "L" key. It only works in mono sound.
  156.               o There  are  several  versions  around  with this version
  157.                 numbre.  They  are not the same,  and not all work well.
  158.                 And none of them says  "beta"  O:-( Therefore,  it won't
  159.                 be  an  official version.  Also,  all those versions are
  160.                 unexplainably packed as 1.1b. :_(
